Ultrafiltration (UF) is a pressure driven membrane separation process that removes suspended or particulate matter (including colloids & silt) from the water. This solution is far more reliable than a conventional multimedia filter, which removes matter measuring approximately 10 microns or larger, whereas a UF membrane pore size is approximately 0.01 to 0.02 microns. In addition to superior turbidity removal, UF membranes efficiently remove all bacteria and 99.99% of all viruses. As a certified Original Equipment Manufacturer for the world`s best technology providers.

ABEL`s UF systems are built using the highest quality parts and the most advanced membranes on the market. It is for this reason that we can ensure our clients the highest quality of water produced with extremely low energy costs. The Ultrafiltration process also provides a completely chemical-free filtration process, meaning no chlorine is required during filtration, resulting in even lower OPEX. ABEL offers a full line of UF systems, tailor made to the specifications and needs of our clients. We have experience designing and building systems from a few thousand gallons per day to many tens of millions of gallons per day. We can also design systems which operate using entirely renewable sources of energy.
