Arsenal title claim, Kingston shooting probes and Vybz Kartel video lead Star recap

The Independent Commission of Investigations has opened probes into two recent police shooting incidents in Kingston. In Craig Town, a 22-year-old man and his 60-year-old father were shot and injured during what police described as an armed confrontation. In another matter, a man was fatally shot during a police operation near Princess and Charles streets in downtown Kingston. He had not yet been formally identified, though sources cited by The Gleaner said he was believed to be a teenager. INDECOM has launched 131 investigations into fatal shootings involving security-force members since the start of the year.

Vybz Kartel also responded after criticism of a viral video showing him dancing in his bathroom to his song “Don’t Mess Up” while wearing boxers. He later returned in the same boxers and red robe, telling critics to move on if they disliked the content and reminding followers that he is happily engaged and an award-winning entertainer.
