11th Jamaica Diaspora Conference Promotes Investment, Youth and Digital Economy Themes

The 11th staging of the Jamaica Diaspora Conference is being positioned as a forum for overseas Jamaicans to reconnect with the island and work alongside residents as strategic partners in building a more resilient country.

Sessions this year are expected to span artificial intelligence and the digital economy, agriculture, health care, schools and education, security, the creative economy, and youth empowerment, with an overall focus on advancing national development.

Organisers say the event also offers a channel for diaspora investment in Jamaica. Tickets are available through tick.appjdc. Early-bird pricing is listed at US$180 for the full four-day programme, which includes lunch and entertainment; organisers say those specials are selling quickly.

A dedicated marketplace will run alongside the conference, framed as a space to showcase products, goods and services and to engage government, private-sector and diaspora stakeholders on investment opportunities. Of 80 booth spaces, 73 had already been booked at the time of the announcement, leaving limited availability.

Officials urged interested participants to secure marketplace placement while space remains, and said they look forward to partnerships that can strengthen Jamaica for future generations.
