
KINGSTON, Jamaica – A 48-hour curfew that has been imposed in sections of the Lane Pass, Brooks Level, and Airy Castle communities in the St Andrew North policing division has been extended.
The curfew will continuefrom 6:00 pm on Wednesday, July 15 and remain in effect until Friday July 17.
The curfew boundaries are as follows:
NORTH: From the intersection of Lane Pass, Old Golden Spring Road, and Golden Spring Road with an imaginary line to the intersection of Airy Castle Road and Bowden Hill Road.
EAST: From the intersection of Airy Castle Road and Bowden Hill Road with an imaginary line to the intersection of Castle Drive and Lipscombe Avenue.
SOUTH: From the intersection of Castle Drive and Lipscombe Avenue along Lipscombe Avenue to the intersection of Christopher Road and Old Stony Hill Road.
WEST: From the intersection of Old Stony Hill Road and Christopher along Old Golden Spring Road to the intersection of Lane Pass, Old Golden Spring Road, and Golden Spring Road.
During the hours of the curfew, individuals within its boundaries are required to remain indoors unless otherwise authorised by the ground commander.
