St Catherine Man Found Dead: Police are investigating the suspected murder of 80-year-old Llascelles Kerr, whose partially decomposed body was discovered inside his home in Nase Grove, Kitson Town, St Catherine, on Monday morning.
According to investigators, Kerr was last seen alive in the community at about 5:30 p.m. on Friday, July 3.
Police reported that at approximately 8:15 a.m. on Monday, July 6, Kerr’s body was found lying on its side on the floor of his house. He had sustained severe head injuries, and the body was in an advanced state of decomposition.
Investigators believe Kerr was attacked by one or more individuals who forcibly entered the house before assaulting him. Police theorise that his head was smashed with a concrete block during the attack.
Crime scene investigators processed the area, and Kerr’s body was removed for a post-mortem examination.
The Spanish Town Criminal Investigation Branch is continuing its investigation into the incident.
