Rising dancehall producer Arrogant Recordz
Fast-rising dancehall producer Arrogant Recordz has joined forces with rising dancehall talent Fxntom for the release of “Gone Ghost,” co-produced by Kennedy Clan Entertainment and Divine Global.
The track tells the story of personal struggles and emotional battles, with the artiste expressing feelings of wanting to disappear while searching for peace within himself. Built around a melodic dancehall sound, the single highlights Fxntom’s emotional delivery and reflective songwriting style.
The 19-year-old Portmore native, born Dante Ferril, continues to build momentum with releases such as “It’s Giving,” which dropped earlier this year and helped introduce his melodic style to a growing audience within the new wave of dancehall.
Arrogant, whose real name is Jhevante Grant, explained that the beat was intentionally crafted to match Fxntom’s melodic approach. “I grew up on this style, so it fits me more,” he shared.
“It’s always important to create space and stay loyal to these upcoming voices,” Arrogant added while speaking on the inspiration behind the release.
Known for producing tracks such as “Try Sometimes” by Shaqstar, along with “Journey” and “Witness” by Kant10t, Arrogant says he has bigger plans lined up for 2026 as he continues expanding his catalogue and collaborations.
