ATL Automotive Group Named Regional Master Dealer for Jetour Across Caribbean Markets
ATL Automotive Group has confirmed it will serve as regional master dealer for Jetour, a rapidly expanding automotive marque under the globally recognised Chery Group.
Under the arrangement, the ATL Automotive Caribbean Hub will back Jetour operations in Trinidad and Tobago, Guyana, St Lucia, Belize, Grenada and St Vincent and the Grenadines. The news comes after Jetour’s formal entry into Guyana, where CAM Motors — ATL Automotive Group’s local dealership partner — handled the brand’s introduction.
Company officials described the move as a significant step in ATL Automotive Group’s wider regional growth plan and said it bolsters the group’s standing among the Caribbean’s largest and most established automotive operators.
The Caribbean Hub was established a decade ago to represent BMW and MINI regionally. It has since grown into a broad automotive platform, bringing brands such as BYD, Foton, Jetour, Omoda & Jaecoo and MG into the group’s stable alongside its original marques.
ATL Automotive Group now has a presence in 21 territories, from The Bahamas, Bermuda and Belize to Guyana, Suriname, Panama and other markets across the Caribbean, Central America and South America.
Through the hub, the group offers manufacturers and local dealers a full regional support network covering vehicle and fleet sales, overseas sales, parts supply, technical assistance, aftersales and brand training, marketing, retail standards, dealer development and warranty services.
Adding Jetour also deepens ATL Automotive Group’s ties with Chery Group, which already includes Omoda & Jaecoo representation across several regional markets.
Adam Stewart, Executive Chairman of ATL Automotive Group, said: “Jetour is one of the fastest-growing and most exciting automotive brands in the world, and we are thrilled and incredibly proud to represent the brand across a number of important regional Caribbean markets. This is a major vote of confidence in ATL Automotive Group and in the strength of the ATL Automotive Caribbean Hub.
“What makes this especially meaningful is that our growth story began right here in Jamaica. In many ways, it follows the same proud Caribbean path that Sandals Resorts helped pioneer in the early 1990s — building from a strong base, then taking world-class Caribbean expertise, energy and execution into multiple international markets. That same spirit is at the heart of ATL Automotive Group’s regional expansion and we are constantly looking for new, long term opportunities for growth that offer Caribbean consumers more and more choice.
“Our unique knowledge of the Caribbean archipelago is our superpower. Many outside the region underestimate the size, cultural nuances and logistical complexities that come with operating across such a diverse collection of markets. With that in mind, we have built our business around local knowledge, international expertise and strong on-the-ground partnerships, allowing us to succeed in the various markets and unlock opportunities.”
The group said the appointment reflects its sustained aim to develop a more capable, professional and integrated automotive sector across the region, while offering global manufacturers a reliable partner with deep local insight and a proven track record.
Patrick Wilson, Chief Executive Officer of the ATL Automotive Group commented, “Our role is to give both the manufacturer and our dealer partners the very highest levels of support. That means sales support, parts, training, marketing, technical support, retail standards, dealer development and warranty support. Just as importantly, it means giving global brands the regional knowledge and on-the-ground expertise they need to grow properly, sustainably and successfully.”
“When we created the Caribbean Hub 10 years ago with BMW and MINI, the vision was always much bigger than one brand or one market. We wanted to build a regional automotive platform that could give global manufacturers the confidence, structure, expertise and local understanding needed to succeed across the Caribbean. Today, with brands such as BYD, Foton, MG, Omoda & Jaecoo and now Jetour in addition to BMW and MINI, that vision is becoming a reality.”
Jetour has drawn international notice for its SUV line-up, competitive pricing, modern technology and swift global rollout. As a Chery Group brand, it draws on one of China’s most established automotive engineering and manufacturing bases, while maintaining its own emphasis on adventure, family transport and contemporary SUV styling.
The Guyana rollout with CAM Motors is viewed as the opening move in Jetour’s latest regional push, with additional activity anticipated across the territories covered by ATL Automotive Group’s appointment.
