Bounty Killer to receive Kingston key as city renames Wenchman Road

Kingston will honour dancehall veteran Rodney Price, better known as Bounty Killer, on Tuesday, July 28, with the key to the city. Organisers say Wenchman Road will also be renamed Rodney Price Drive in recognition of his contribution to Jamaican music and culture.

On the morning news desk, CVM reported that Damian Walters, 43, an employee of the Guardsman Group who was critically hurt in the Guardsman explosion and fire, died on Monday while being treated at the Joseph M. Still Burn Center in Augusta, Georgia. He had been flown overseas for specialist care after suffering severe burns in the May incident.

National Water Commission customers in Washington Gardens, Marley and nearby communities face nightly lock-offs from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. until further notice, as dry weather tightens supply. The NWC apologised for the disruption and urged residents to store and conserve water.
