Cabinet Ministers to Hold Press Briefing at Jamaica House on June 17

Senior Government ministers are set to address the public following this week's Cabinet meeting, with a press briefing scheduled for Wednesday, June 17, 2026.

The session begins at 10:00 a.m. in the Banquet Hall at Jamaica House. Sen. Dr. the Honourable Dana Morris Dixon, Minister of Education, Skills, Youth and Information, will lead the proceedings.

Briefings are expected from Hon. Dr. Horace Chang, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Security and Peace, and Sen. the Hon. Aubyn Hill, Minister of Industry, Investment and Commerce.

The event forms part of the Government's regular post-Cabinet outreach, through which officials outline policy decisions, development programmes, economic priorities, public-safety measures, investment prospects, education matters, and other issues affecting communities across Jamaica.
