Courtney Undah Privilege joins Money B for dancehall-hip hop single GMML

Reggae and dancehall artiste Courtney Undah Privilege has put out GMML (Gi Me Me Loot), a new track featuring Money B from the famed hip hop outfit Digital Underground.

The pairing grew out of a real friendship that began years earlier in Oakland, California, where the two performers first met. That connection carries into the recording, with Courtney Undah Privilege leading the single through an energetic, trance-like dancehall style, while Money B brings the calm confidence and weight associated with his hip hop delivery.

The song brings together Caribbean flavour and West Coast hip hop touches in a way that reflects the rapport between both artistes. “I have worked with Money B of Digital Underground on many projects in the past. There is musical history and chemistry, which allowed a seamless recording of GMML,” the singer said.

Courtney Undah Privilege is also recognised as the voice behind the well-known sample, “Six Million Ways to Die, Choose One.” That line has travelled through reggae, dancehall and hip hop productions across several generations.

He said he wants GMML to find listeners across the world. “I hope to reach wide audiences with this single, given its dancehall and hip hop fusion style. I would love to gain traction with hip hop audiences. Additionally, I would like to garner great appreciation for Money B, who has a notable place in hip hop history as a member of Digital Underground alongside late bandmates Shock G and Tupac,” he said.

Outside of recording, Courtney Undah Privilege has continued to develop his profile in television and film. He is known for playing Melvin in Arnold’s Caribbean Pizza, a production from Bentley Kyle Evans, known for Martin and The Jamie Foxx Show, and Trae Ireland.

His screen work also includes roles in Gangsta’s Paradise, Cop and a Badman, Straight Out, and Rude Boy the Jamaican Don, reflecting his interest in storytelling across different formats.

Courtney Undah Privilege is also widening his creative work through Podeville Productions. Alongside Mix Frames Entertainment, he is working on Dream Chaser, a film focused on perseverance, ambition and the pursuit of success, with release planned for summer 2026.
