Dunn's River Falls lands 2026 TripAdvisor Travellers' Choice honour among world's top attractions
ST ANN, Jamaica — Dunn's River Falls and Park has been named a winner in the 2026 TripAdvisor Travellers' Choice Awards, placing the landmark within the highest-rated tenth of attractions worldwide as measured by traveller reviews and scores.
In a release on Wednesday, the Urban Development Corporation (UDC), which manages the site, said the honour reflects favourable impressions from visitors over a 12-month period and points to strong performance in guest care, service standards, environmental protection and destination management.
The state agency said the recognition marks a further milestone for Jamaica's tourism industry and its international profile.
Sherlock Glenister, deputy general manager with responsibility for subsidiary management and revenue generation at the UDC, said the result strengthens Jamaica's standing as a leading Caribbean travel destination.
"This award is tremendously significant because it comes directly from the voices of travellers from around the world who have experienced the magic of Dunn's River Falls first-hand. To be ranked among the top 10 per cent of attractions globally is a powerful endorsement of the quality, authenticity and excellence that Jamaica continues to offer the world," Glenister said.
He added that Dunn's River Falls remains one of Jamaica's most important natural and cultural landmarks.
TripAdvisor Chief Marketing Officer Matt Dacey also congratulated the attraction on the achievement.
"Congratulations to Dunn's River Falls and Park on its recognition in TripAdvisor's Travellers' Choice Awards for 2026. Ranking among the top percentage of businesses globally means you have made such a memorable impact on your visitors that many of them took time to go online and leave a glowing review about their experience.
"We hope this recognition continues to drive business to you in 2026 and beyond," Dacey said.
Situated in Ocho Rios, St Ann, Dunn's River Falls and Park ranks among the Caribbean's most heavily visited sites and is widely known for its waterfall-climbing experience, beach access and eco-tourism offerings.
The UDC noted that the award comes at a time when Jamaica continues to see strong international tourism demand and growing global interest in authentic nature-based experiences and sustainable tourism offerings.
