The Boris Hanžeković Memorial in Zagreb shone the spotlight on Jamaica's sprint stars, with a trio of meeting records highlighting an outstanding day on the track.

Five-time Olympic champion Elaine Thompson-Herah continued her impressive return to form by winning the women's 100m at the Zagreb Meeting in 10.91 seconds, setting a new meet record in her first 100m race outside Jamaica this season.

The performance is her fastest time since returning from the Achilles injury that forced her to miss the entire 2025 season. Fellow Jamaican Brianna Lyston finished second in 10.94 seconds, completing a Jamaican 1-2 finish in Zagreb.

The record-breaking performances continued as Rushell Clayton captured the women's 400m hurdles in 53.54 seconds, setting another meeting record.

Stacey-Ann Williams then delivered a personal best 49.48 seconds to win the women's 400m, securing Jamaica's third meeting record at the Boris Hanžeković Memorial, a World Athletics Continental Tour Gold event.
