A 47-year-old resident of Gregory Park, Portmore in St Catherine was killed after being stabbed in a dispute at a home there early Monday morning.
Police have named the dead man as Frederick Adams of Hatfield Avenue, Gregory Park.
Officers say that about 12:40 a.m. on July 13, Adams quarrelled with another man who also lived at that address. In the course of the clash, the other man is alleged to have knifed Adams in the upper body.
Adams left the house but fell at a property close by. When police arrived, he was taken to Spanish Town Hospital and pronounced dead.
Detectives from the Caymanas Criminal Investigation Branch are still probing the killing.
