Harbour View FC are the new KSAFA Next Gen Under-20 champions after defeating Arnett Gardens 2-0 in Sunday's final at the UWI Bowl.

Captain Tyrique Robinson settled the match with a brace, opening the scoring in the 55th minute before adding a second in stoppage time to seal the win for the East Kingston side.

Robinson finished the campaign as the competition's leading marksman with 10 goals and was also named the season's Most Valuable Player.

"I'm very happy to be winning. I'm very pleased cuz I've been working very hard over this preseason and during the season, so I'm very happy with myself. I still think I could do more, but happy to win it," Robinson said.

He credited Arnett Gardens for their coaching setup and said finals are decided by desire rather than style. "Cuz Arnett Gardens have some They have very quality coaches and you know, it's just today It's just how who wants it more. You know, you know in finals goal, it's not on a pretty football. We come to do a job. And the job was accomplished," he added.

Arnett Gardens struggled to convert their chances and discipline broke down late in the match. "Um I think we didn't have discipline enough on the field where we we we create our chances and we we didn't take our chances today and that haunt us. Um we tried to stick to the discipline um the way that we we play and the way that we know how to play. Um but unfortunate players um didn't adapt as much," an Arnett Gardens representative said.

The match ended with Arnett Gardens reduced to seven players on the pitch after Orlando Grant, Antonio Mitchell, Shaquino Grant, and Dujay Brown were all shown red cards.
