Holness outlines growth agenda at Jamaica Chamber of Commerce awards banquet
Prime Minister Dr. the Most Honourable Andrew Holness delivered the keynote speech at the Jamaica Chamber of Commerce Annual Awards Banquet 2026, a major gathering for Jamaica’s business community and public-sector leadership.
The banquet brought together leaders from government and private enterprise to honour strong performance, new ideas, entrepreneurship and high standards in commerce.
In his address, Holness focused on Jamaica’s economic results, prospects for investment, business competitiveness, digital change, workforce preparation and the Government’s wider plan for durable growth and national prosperity.
The Jamaica Chamber of Commerce, founded in 1779, is among the oldest private-sector organisations in the Western Hemisphere. It continues to advocate for economic expansion, business development and conditions that support enterprise in Jamaica.
