House of Representatives continues Sectoral Debate with bills and regulations on June 9

The House of Representatives was set to continue the Sectoral Debate on June 9, 2026, with public business including presentations by Hon. Robert Montague, CD, MP, and Ms. Andrea Purkiss, MP.

Montague was listed as Minister without Portfolio in the Ministry of Economic Growth and Infrastructure Development, carrying responsibility for Land Titling and Settlement. Purkiss was identified as Member of Parliament for Eastern Hanover and Opposition Spokesperson on Tourism and Linkages.

The agenda also named three legislative items: The Trade (Standard Incandescent Light Sources) (Prohibition, Except under Licence) Order, 2025; The Shipping (Prevention of Garbage Pollution) Regulations, 2026, with its accompanying Resolution; and The Civil Aviation (Amendment) Act, 2026, which was to be tabled.
