Jamaica House post-Cabinet briefing set for June 3 with education and foreign affairs focus

The Government of Jamaica will carry its post-Cabinet press briefing live on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. from the Banquet Hall at Jamaica House.

The session will be hosted by Senator Dr. the Honourable Dana Morris Dixon, Minister of Education, Skills, Youth and Information. The listed guests are Senator the Honourable Kamina Johnson Smith, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, and Dr. the Honourable Andrew Wheatley, MP, Minister Without Portfolio in the Office of the Prime Minister with responsibility for Science, Technology and Special Projects.

According to the notice, the briefing is intended to update the public on Cabinet decisions, government policy, national development programmes and issues affecting Jamaicans locally and overseas. The agenda includes education, foreign affairs, science, technology, innovation and other development priorities.
