Reggae Boyz take Group B lead after 2-1 Nations League win in Honduras
Jamaica’s senior men’s team beat Honduras 2-1 in Tegucigalpa on Tuesday evening, a first away win over the Central Americans at that level and a result that put the Reggae Boyz atop Group B in League A of the 2024-25 CONCACAF Nations League.
The side now has four points from two group-stage matches.
Tuesday’s scoreline extended Jamaica’s winning run against Honduras to six straight games and left the national team unbeaten in seven meetings with the same opponents.
Away from home in Nations League group play, Jamaica have not lost in eight consecutive fixtures, a run that began in 2019.
The Reggae Boyz return to Nations League action on 10 October away to Nicaragua and on 14 October at home to Honduras.
Tickets for the upcoming home match go on sale on Friday, 13 September 2024, and fans are urged to purchase early.
Grandstand seats for Jamaica’s home meeting with Cuba were already sold out.
