The Government of Jamaica will hold its weekly post-Cabinet press briefing on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. in the Banquet Hall at Jamaica House in Kingston.

The session brings ministers before the media to explain Cabinet decisions and outline programmes that affect citizens nationwide. It is billed as a channel for transparency and public engagement on government initiatives, national development projects and other matters of national importance.

Senator Dr the Hon Dana Morris Dixon, Minister of Education, Skills, Youth and Information, will host the briefing. She will be joined by the Hon Edmund Bartlett, Minister of Tourism, and the Hon Matthew Samuda, Minister of Water, Environment and Climate Change.

Discussions are expected to cover Jamaica's education transformation agenda, performance in the tourism sector, climate resilience planning, water management initiatives and other recent developments with island-wide impact.

The post-Cabinet briefing is a regular fixture through which the administration reports on policy direction and programme delivery across sectors including education reform, youth development, environmental sustainability and tourism growth.
