JSE Index Gains 717 Points as Wigton Energy Leads Friday Trading
The main JSE Index climbed by 717 points on Friday, with the Junior Market also ending stronger after moving up 17 points.
Trading across the market covered 105 stocks. Of those, 49 finished higher, 40 lost ground and 16 closed unchanged.
Wigton Energy accounted for the heaviest trading volume, representing 55 per cent of all shares traded.
