ANDREW TRAFFIC TICKET PUBLIC DAY REGISTRATION OPENS MAY 5 Kingston, Jamaica — The Judiciary of Jamaica is advising that the next Traffic Ticket Public Day is scheduled for the parishes of Kingston and St Andrew. It will be held over two days , Wednesday, July 8 and Thursday, July 9, 2026 , at the National Arena. This Traffic Ticket Public Day reflects a deliberate and strategic response by the Judiciary to address the persistent backlog of traffic cases, while advancing access to justice, strengthening compliance with the law, and promoting orderly administration across the courts. Motorists with tickets between February 1, 2018, and the present year (2026) are eligible to participate. Eligible persons are strongly encouraged to register and utilise this opportunity to have their matters addressed in a timely and structured forum before the execution of warrants. The Honourable Mr. Justice Bryan Sykes, OJ, CD, Chief Justice, observed that , “ the volume of outstanding matters within Kingston and St. Andrew has reached a level that necessitates decisive and coordinated intervention. ” He noted , “this initiative represents a measured and pragmatic approach to restoring equilibrium within the system, while reinforcing the principle that adherence to the law is mandatory and that breaches must be addressed with due dispatch and procedural integrity. ” REGISTRATION DETAILS Registration for the Traffic Ticket Public Day opens on Tuesday , May 5 , 2026, and closes on Sunday, May 31, 2026, at midnight. Motorists may register by submitting their name, TRN, and ticket details via the following channels:
