Kedecia McLeod death probe opened after Manchester pharmacy technician found in St Elizabeth
Manchester, Jamaica: Police are probing the death of Kedecia McLeod, a Manchester woman whose remains were discovered in St Elizabeth after she had been reported missing earlier this week.
McLeod, who worked as a pharmacy technician, was from Allison District in Manchester. Investigators say she was located on vacant land in the Pepper community of St Elizabeth on Thursday morning.
Authorities have not yet said how she died. They are awaiting the findings of a post-mortem examination before making a determination on the cause of death.
McLeod was reported missing after she was last seen on Tuesday. Her disappearance led relatives and the police to ask the public for help in finding her.
The police have since started inquiries into the events leading up to her death.
