Laden eyes summer dominance with empowerment single 'Life Better'

Dancehall artiste Laden is generating fresh momentum behind his newest offering, 'Life Better', a single he believes is positioned to carry him through the summer season.
The record was produced by Wraif Music alongside Money Up Productions and has been climbing across streaming services, reaching the No. 9 spot on the YouTube Jamaica Chart and pulling steady engagement online.
"This track is already the ladies' favourite because it speaks to situations that a lot of women are currently in, situations women have gotten out of, and what women really expect from relationships," Laden said.
The entertainer believes the song's message about self-worth will keep it in heavy rotation. "Every woman wants to live a better life, especially after finding strength to leave a situation that wasn't worthy. I see this song taking over the summer, and I look forward to the marketing campaigns being put in place to ensure its continued success," he added.
To widen the song's reach, the producers have rolled out an official music video. The visuals lean into the track's encouraging tone, reinforcing its central idea that women are entitled to healthier and more rewarding circumstances.
Through his lyrical approach, Laden sketches scenes of women navigating mistreatment and choosing themselves instead. The release adds a meaningful entry to his catalogue and signals his intent to balance entertainment with messaging that lifts listeners up.
By leaning into themes that connect with female audiences, the artiste broadens his footprint in dancehall as a versatile voice with his own sonic identity. Money Up Productions, a female-led imprint, says the song fits squarely within its goal of putting out music that empowers and honours women.
Laden has built an international following through earlier records including 'Money Ova War', 'Time To Shine', and 'Really Like You'.
