The deceased has been identified as Asagar Martin, a resident of Greenvale.
According to preliminary reports, shortly after 12:30 a.m., Martin was among patrons at the establishment when a lone gunman entered the bar and opened fire, hitting both men before fleeing the scene.
The victims were rushed to hospital, where Martin was pronounced dead on arrival. The second victim was admitted for treatment, and his condition has not yet been disclosed.

The latest killing comes just days after the double murder of Sadefa Henry and Deenekia Pounall, who were shot dead while travelling in a taxi at Horseshoe Curve on Caledonia Road in Mandeville on Saturday.
With Tuesday’s fatal shooting, the number of murders recorded in Manchester since the start of the year has risen to 22.
Investigations into the incident are ongoing, and police are appealing to anyone with information that may assist the investigation to contact the nearest police station or Crime Stop.
