Connecticut Bar Shooting – The family of Jamaican brothers Miquel Blake, 31, and Dravere Blake, 34, who were shot and killed outside a bar in West Haven, Connecticut, on June 20, is seeking public assistance to return their bodies to Jamaica for burial.
Their mother, Marie Blake, has launched a GoFundMe campaign to help cover repatriation and funeral expenses. The fundraiser has raised US$3,615 so far toward its US$30,000 goal.
The brothers leave behind children and other grieving relatives. Police say no arrests have been made, and investigations into the shooting are ongoing.
