PAHO/WHO and India donate computers to support Jamaica health recovery
Jamaica’s Ministry of Health and Wellness has recognised further assistance from the Pan American Health Organization/World Health Organization (PAHO/WHO) as the country’s health sector continues to recover from Hurricane Melissa.
The ministry said 10 all-in-one computers, supplied by PAHO/WHO and the Government of India through the Maternal Child Health Programme, will help improve health-care delivery and operational capacity.
It said partnerships of this nature remain important to building stronger health systems and improving care for Jamaicans.
