Popcaan Earns First Billboard Hot 100 Entry With Drake Collab ‘Amazing Shape’

Popcaan has earned the first Billboard Hot 100 entry of his career, with his Drake collaboration Amazing Shape debuting at No. 76 on the chart dated May 30, 2026.

The song appears on Drake’s Maid Of Honour, one of three projects the Canadian rapper released on May 15 alongside Iceman and Habibti.

Speaking with the Jamaica Observer, Popcaan described the entry as a blessing. “God is good, give thanks for the blessing,” he said. Asked about his long-running chemistry with Drake, the Unruly Boss added: “The chemistry is undefeated, so whatever we do a straight banger.”

Popcaan’s previous Billboard song entries include his 2012 breakout Only Man She Want, which entered Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, and Twist & Turn, his 2020 collaboration with Drake and PARTYNEXTDOOR, which reached the Bubbling Under Hot 100.

His history with Drake goes back more than a decade. Popcaan’s vocals were originally heard on Controlla, from Drake’s 2016 album Views, but were left off the official album version. The two later released Twist & Turn, All I Need, and We Caa Done, all through Popcaan projects, before Amazing Shape gave him a formal album credit on Drake’s side.

Billboard reported that 42 songs from Iceman, Habibti, and Maid Of Honour appeared on the Hot 100 dated May 30, led by Janice STFU, which debuted at No. 1.

Popcaan was not the only artist to earn a first Hot 100 entry through Maid Of Honour. Four other acts also made their chart debuts through collaborations on the album: Molly Santana with Ran to Atlanta at No. 2, Qendresa with Slap the City at No. 39, Stunna Sandy with Outside Tweaking at No. 65, and Iconic Savvy with True Bestie at No. 67.
