Samsung recaps key moments from Galaxy Unpacked July 2026 in London where it unveiled the newest foldables, watches and intelligent eyewear
On July 27, Samsung Electronics hosted Galaxy Unpacked July 2026 at Old Billingsgate in London — unveiling its next-generation foldables with agentic AI.
This year’s Galaxy Unpacked marks an important shift in Samsung’s foldable strategy. Rather than introducing a single flagship foldable, Samsung unveiled its most complete foldable portfolio yet, with three distinct devices designed around different lifestyles and user needs, all powered by the next evolution of Galaxy AI.
Alongside Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold8 and Galaxy Z Flip8, Samsung introduced Galaxy Watch Ultra2 and Galaxy Watch9 with more advanced health features, as well as intelligent eyewear. Through a user-centred Galaxy ecosystem powered by AI, the company outlined its vision for delivering meaningful everyday experiences.
“As AI becomes more agentic, mobile devices will become the most personal entry point to experiences that understand and adapt to each user,” said TM Roh, Chief Executive Officer, President and Head of the Device eXperience (DX) Division at Samsung Electronics. “By setting a new standard for foldables, we are once again advancing the premium mobile experience and opening the next era of intelligence to more people.

Beyond new devices, Samsung also introduced its Connected Care vision—an AI-powered approach to digital health that aims to move from reactive care to proactive, personalised and connected wellness experiences. By combining Galaxy devices, Samsung Health and an expanding ecosystem of trusted partners, Samsung is working to help people make healthier decisions in their everyday lives, while bringing together wearable data, nutrition, fitness and AI-driven insights into one connected experience.
The company also announced a new line of intelligent eyewear, a collaboration with Gentle Monster and Warby Parker.
“As agentic AI reshapes mobile experiences, the next step is to make those experiences more intuitive and responsive to each user’s context,” said Won-Joon Choi, Chief Operating Officer of the Mobile eXperience (MX) Business at Samsung Electronics. “Intelligent eyewear creates a new point of interaction, bringing more personalised AI assistance naturally into the moments that make up everyday life.”

Longtime Samsung partners, Google and Qualcomm, also were presents during the event in London. Rick Osterloh, SVP Platform & Devices at Google, introduced the next generation of Gemini Intelligence in the new Galaxy foldables, with improved task automation across the favourite apps and Gemini Notebook.
Cristiano Amon, President and Chief Executive Officer of Qualcomm Incorporated, who appeared as a speaker at the Unpacked event, said users would “see Snapdragon across more Samsung product categories” and added that the two companies would work together to create AI experiences with a deeper understanding of user context. Qualcomm and Samsung have partnered for three decades.
