Seville takes silver, Williams bronze at Novuna London Athletics Meet
Jamaica’s strongest showings at the Novuna London Athletics Meet came from world champion Oblique Seville and national 400m champion Stacey-Ann Williams, who both reached the podium.
Seville posted 9.87 seconds to place second in the men’s 100m. Nigeria’s Kayinsola Ajayi took the win in 9.84, equalling his national record.
Williams added another solid result this season, finishing third in the women’s 400m in 49.52 seconds. Marileidy Paulino won the race.
Additional Jamaican competitors lined up in multiple events. Elsewhere on the programme, Julien Alfred and Josh Kerr drew the loudest attention with performances that set new records.
