Grammy Award-winning recording artiste Stephen Marley releases his new single, “Hills of St. Ann,” on Friday, May 8, via Ghetto Youths International and ONErpm.
The track marks the start of a wider musical journey inspired by Jamaica’s landscapes, culture, and identity. Rooted in traditional reggae sounds, “Hills of St. Ann” highlights the beauty and spiritual essence of Jamaica’s “Garden Parish” through vivid storytelling and cultural reflection.
“A song rooted in the land, spirit, and cultural legacy of St. Ann - this first chapter presents a wider musical journey through Jamaica’s parishes,” said Stephen Marley.
The single also launches a multi-release campaign exploring Jamaica’s culture, identity, and natural beauty through music, with future songs expected to spotlight different parishes and aspects of the island’s heritage.
The Reagge Powerhouse is also set to embark on the Roots and Rhymes tour alongside Buju Banton. The tour begins June 19 at the Pacific Amphitheatre in Costa Mesa before making stops across key U.S. states including California, Colorado, Texas, Michigan, New York, Georgia, and more, through July 25.
