International recording star SZA is pushing further into acting with a principal voice role in the animated feature CoComelon: The Movie, which is scheduled to reach cinemas on February 19, 2027.
Universal is producing the picture, which has also lined up Ike Barinholtz, Nicholas Hoult, Sarah Sherman, and Ego Nwodim among its voice cast.
The Love Galore singer made her on-screen entrance in the buddy comedy One of Them Days opposite Keke Palmer. Her place on a franchise that already commands a global preschool audience suggests she is deliberately widening her résumé beyond music, not merely testing the waters in film.
