Teen arrested after allegedly flashing gun during argument then running away

A Westmoreland teenager is in hot water after allegedly lifting his shirt to flash a firearm during an argument then quickly running away from the scene.
Nineteen-year-old Shaderoe White of Shrewsbury, Petersfield, has since been charged with possession of a firearm in a public place and assault at common law.
Reports from the Savanna-la-Mar Police are that about 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 21, White and another man became involved in an altercation in the community.
During the confrontation, White allegedly revealed a firearm tucked in his waistband and threatened the man before fleeing the area.
A report was made to the police, and White was later apprehended during a targeted operation on Thursday, April 24.
He was subsequently charged based on a statement recorded by investigators.
His court date is being finalised.
