Tielo Lanez drops ‘Redemption’ single on the Mercy Lap rhythm project

Music producer Ricco Diplomats is teaming up with a duo of young emerging production houses to release a new dancehall banger, Redemption, by emerging star Tielo Lanez on the Mercy Lap rhythm project.
“This Redemption song has the potential to be a big hit. I believe this song will give us the big break as young producers. We all believe in Tielo Lanez so we’ve come together to bring different vibes and energy to make it happen,” Ricco Diplomats, whose real name is Rick Foster, said.
Moji
The single appears on the Ricco Records, Moji Records and Black Satin imprints.
“Tielo Lanez is signed to DJ Mac, and we are also working with him. He is the next artiste people expect to be the face of dancehall,” he said.
Team Upgrade created the instrumental for the Mercy Lap rhythm. Dancehall stars Valiant and Skippa will also be featured on the Mercy Lap rhythm.
Ricco Diplomats
Ricco is banking on Tielo Lanez to become a music powerhouse.
“He voiced more than one song for us. Another song he voiced was Fat Fat on the remake of the Throat riddim we called Street Mongrel. So Redemption is actually the third song he is voicing for the team,” Ricco Diplomat, who is a member of Valiant’s team, said.
Ricco Ras is a former road manager and entertainment insider turned music producer. He is also a dancehall artiste who made his debut with the single Tek Go Off in October 2021.
Black Satin
He transitioned from promotions to recording music and solo recording at Core Upgrade studio in Stony Hill.
He grew up in Duppy Gully/Rocky Valley, St Andrew, and attended St Andrew Technical High School. In 2017, Rick Foster (Ricco) was involved with Gold Plaque Entertainment alongside Ricardo ‘Shrimpy’ Meikle.
