Montego Bay United have appointed Xavier Gilbert as their new Technical Director of Football, promoting the former Reggae Girlz assistant coach from the head-coaching post he held through the 2025–26 Jamaica Premier League campaign.
Gilbert earned the step up after steering the St. James-based side into the last four of both the Popeyes Challenge Cup and the Premier League.
The club said the wider remit will let Gilbert shape football operations as Montego Bay United seek to build on recent gains.
