
Battle for Quiz Supremacy: Naggo Head Primary and Creative Kids Learning Academy Advance to TPDCo Tourism Quiz Finals

An electrifying display of knowledge, quick thinking and teamwork has set the stage for what promises to be an intense showdown in the finals of the TPDCo Tourism Quiz Competition.
Defending champions Creative Kids Learning Academy secured their place in the championship match after defeating Mandeville Primary School 40-27 in a commanding semi-final performance. Earlier in the competition, Naggo Head Primary School booked their spot in the finals with a hard-fought 37-26 victory over St. Hugh’s Preparatory School.
The results have created a highly anticipated championship clash between two of the competition’s most successful schools. Creative Kids Learning Academy, the 2025 champions, will face off against Naggo Head Primary School, the back-to-back champions of the 2022 and 2023 seasons, in a battle for quiz supremacy.
Now in its seventh season, the TPDCo Tourism Quiz Competition continues to engage young Jamaicans in learning about the country’s tourism industry, heritage, culture, geography and attractions while fostering confidence, teamwork and critical thinking skills.
The championship match is scheduled for Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. and will be broadcast on Television Jamaica (TVJ), and Television Jamaica International (TVJi), giving viewers, locally and internationally, the opportunity to witness the crowning of the 2026 champions.
The semi-final matches kept audiences on the edge of their seats as students demonstrated exceptional preparation and determination. With both finalist teams boasting a championship pedigree, expectations are high for a closely contested and thrilling finale.

The National Tourism Quiz Competition is an initiative of the Tourism Product Development Company Limited (TPDCo) aimed at educating students about Jamaica’s tourism sector while inspiring them to become ambassadors for the country’s tourism product.
