British Songwriter Talay Riley Killed in East London Stabbing at 35
Talay Riley, the British singer-songwriter whose birth name was Mark Orabiyi, died on June 5 following a knife attack in east London. He was 35.
Riley was known to fans for his 2010 single “Make You Mine”, while his wider profile came through songwriting work for major international acts. His catalogue included credits connected to Dua Lipa, Khalid, Britney Spears, The Chainsmokers and 5 Seconds of Summer, as well as work with Chris Brown, Kehlani, H.E.R. and Jason Derulo.
Police are investigating the killing and have asked members of the public to share witness accounts or CCTV footage from the area.
