Commercial realty firm and REIT operator different Capital Limited has named retired PwC partner Don Christian chairman of its board.

Christian left PwC following a 36-year tenure that included service on the PwC Global Board and the PwC US Board, where he helped shape strategy and governance at one of the largest professional services firms in the world, the company said in a statement on the appointment.

He also sits on the Board of Trustees at Howard University, which the release described as among the leading universities in the United States.

different said Christian’s elevation as chairman is a major step in the company’s development and an important change for Chris Williams, who will now devote himself entirely to the chief executive role after running the firm through its startup period as both chairman and CEO.
