
The police are investigating the shooting death of a man whose body was found along a roadway in Stony Hill, St Andrew on Tuesday night.
He has been identified as a 35-year-old truck driver Carlando Mills, otherwise called 'Lando', of Pear Hill in Stony Hill.
The police report that about 10:10 p.m., passers-by stumbled upon the body in the vicinity of Old Stony Hill Road.
The police were alerted and, upon arrival, observed Mills' body lying face down with what appeared to be gunshot wounds.
He was clad in a grey T-shirt, shorts and a pair of Crocs.
His body was found across from a motor car registered to him.
The scene was processed and the body was removed to be pronounced dead.
The Stony Hill Criminal Investigation Branch is probing the matter.
