Portmore, Cavalier drawn in Group B of Concacaf Caribbean Cup

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Both Jamaican clubs, Jamaica Premier League (JPL) champions Portmore United and Cavalier Soccer Club (SC) have been drawn in Group B of the Concacaf Caribbean Cup at Tuesday’s drawing.
A third Jamaican team could join the group as well.
If Mt Pleasant Football Association (FA) who finished third in the JPL, wins the CFU Club Shield, they too would play in Group B in the competition set to kick off in August.
The Jamaican teams were drawn alongside two other teams from the Dominican Republic, Cibao FC and Salcedo FC.
Violette AC of Haiti, Defence Force and Club Sando FC of Trinidad and Tobago and SV Broki of Suriname are the teams drawn in Group A and they will be joined by the runners m-up in the CFU Club Shield.
