Trelawny rider killed in two-vehicle crash on Sedburgh main road in Manchester

MANCHESTER, Jamaica — A motorcyclist from Trelawny lost his life late Saturday in a two-vehicle collision on the Sedburgh main road close to Christiana in this parish.
Investigators named the victim as Valdie Thomas, 20, who lived in the Lowe River district in Trelawny.
A police account states that at roughly 9:50 p.m., Thomas was travelling on a green 2025 Missile CG250 motorcycle along the Sedburgh main road when it struck a grey 2003 Toyota Probox. The crash threw him from the bike.
Medical staff at Percy Junor Hospital in Spalding later pronounced him dead.
