Vybz Kartel readies God & Time album for June release

Dancehall artiste Vybz Kartel is preparing to put out his latest album, God & Time, on June 5, 2026.
The release comes after Party With Me, issued in 2024, and Heart & Soul, released in 2025, both earned Grammy nominations. Fans have already received the album’s lead song and accompanying video. Ruppi directed the visuals, which were shot in Miami and Kingston, giving listeners an early sense of a project built around faith, endurance, redemption and self-development.
God & Time is expected to include joint tracks with Farruko, Skillibeng and Shenseea, while more featured acts are to be named later. The album was made with longtime partner TJ Records, reconnecting Kartel with the team involved in Viking (Vybz Is King) and King of the Dancehall.
Kartel is also booked to lead the Reggae Sumfest stage on July 18 with Mavado, a pairing being noted in dancehall because of their major rivalry during the 2000s.
